From 1964 to the present day
The SIAL Network, known today as one of the largest trade show networks in the agri-food sector, has a rich and fascinating history stretching back several decades. Founded in 1964 in Paris, the Salon International de l'Alimentation (SIAL) was created to bring together key players in the food industry to foster business, discover the latest market trends and promote innovation.
In the decades since its creation, SIAL has expanded beyond Paris to become a truly global network. Aware of the need to connect with diverse markets and respond to the unique challenges and opportunities they present, SIAL has launched shows in various strategic locations around the world. This internationalization has been key to our growth and success.
